HARRISBURG – State Reps. Kristin Marcell (R-Bucks), Joe Hogan (R-Bucks) and State Sen. Frank Farry (R-Bucks) announce a Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant is approved for Northampton Township totaling nearly $1 million. The state funds will be used in Richboro to improve sidewalk access.

"Ensuring our residents can travel safely within our community is paramount, which is why state support for local infrastructure projects, like the sidewalk improvements in Richboro, is so essential," said Marcell. "I am thrilled to have worked alongside Sen. Farry and Rep. Hogan to advocate for these funds toward making a tangible, positive difference right here in our community."

“It is great to see Northampton Township receive this key funding,” said Hogan. “I want to thank Rep. Marcell, Sen. Farry and local officials for coming together to work for Northampton and securing money for this important project.”

“I am pleased to have helped secure this funding for Northampton Township. This important project will greatly benefit our community and ensure the safety of the residents,” Farry said.

The Multimodal Transportation Fund provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure that a safe and reliable system of transportation is available to the residents of the Commonwealth.
